The Moody Blues are among the few British Invasion survivors from 1964 and continue with their unique synthesis of rock and classical elements. Whether they are reprising “Tuesday Afternoon” or “Nights In White Satin” or rollicking through “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock ‘n Roll Band).” Ticket prices start: $95

Lucinda Williams
A three-time Grammy Award winner, Lucinda Williams really hit her stride in 2003 with the brilliant World Without Tears CD. Saturday, June 18 - 7:30pm Jewel
Alaskan-born, San Diego-bred and discovered, singer-songwriter Jewel is on the concert trail again, singing her arsenal of songs (“Intuition,” "You Were Meant For Me," "Hands," "Who Will Save Your Soul," etc). With special guest Jackie Greene. Ticket prices start: $60

The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego. San Diego's annual county fair, features a midway, exhibits, carnival rides for all ages, flower and garden shows, art in all media, hobbies, and concerts. Closed Mondays except July 4, 2005.
Hours: Opens at 10:00am
Price: Adults $11.00, Ages 62 and older $6.00, Ages 6-12 $5.00, and younger than 6 FREE

ZZ Top
Since its formation in 1969, ZZ Top is a living symbol of party-blues-rock Texas music. The three original members of the band — Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard — are still going strong almost 35 years later. Their hits include "Legs," "Sharp Dressed Man," "Tush" and "La Grange."
Ticket prices start: $30.00 for general admission (general admission seats are on the third and fifth levels of the grandstand). All tickets include Fair admission. June 14-17 Charity Fair Horse Show Price: Free with Fair Admission

Friday, June 17 - 7:30pm REO Speedwagon
Since the release of its first record in 1971, REO Speedwagon has produced 17 critically acclaimed albums, scored 13 top 40 singles and sold over 40 million records. The group's many hits include "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Keep On Lovin' You," "Take It On The Run" and "Time For Me To Fly."
Ticket prices start: Concert with Fair admission: Terrace seats are $29.00 for those 13 and older. Second- and fourth-floor reserved seats are $23.00. Discounts are available for those 62 and older and ages 6-12. Prices include Fair admission, but do not include Ticketmaster fees. Tickets that do not include Fair admission also are available. This show is free with Fair admission for unreserved seats. A limited number of reserved seats are available, and this show also offers a dinner package.

Friday, June 17 San Diego Symphony Summer Pops www.sandiegosymphony.com
The San Diego Symphony presents their summer pops programs, under the stars, every Friday and Saturday during the summer season of 2005. All concerts at 7pm, fireworks on some nights after the concerts. Performers and schedules will be announced later in 2005. Location: Navy Pier, Broadway and Harbor Drive.

PETCO Park, home to the San Diego Padres baseball team, plays the Chicago White Sox at PETCO Park. Ticket prices start: reserved seats start at $12.00.

Tour PETCO Park
You haven't seen PETCO Park until you've gone behind-the-scenes on one of our guided tours. Discover "writer's row" in the press box, learn about the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building and explore the Padres dugout. Individuals or groups smaller than 25 can join our walk-up tours offered six days a week. Tour times are Tuesday-Sunday: 10:30am / 12:30pm / 2:30pm. Please note that there is no 2:30 pm tour on days with evening home games and that there are no scheduled tours on Mondays and days with afternoon home games. Tickets are available online or at any open PETCO Park box office location 30 minutes in advance of each tour time.
