Senior Technical Consultant (CX)

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Jenzabar’s Client Services department has an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Consultant ( CX ). The candidate will work with a Consulting team on Jenzabar’s CX system for higher education using various technologies. In this position, the candidate will be able to blend their analytical and technical/programming skills to provide custom solutions to our Higher Education Customers.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities will include
- Preparing specifications and estimates for customizations requested by customer.
- Specification review with the customer to determine the best option.
- Programming the customization using Perl, C/ESQL, C++, XML, JAVA.
- Delivering to the customer for testing and working with customer on questions.
- Preparing user documentation for the customer.
- Candidate may also provide technical training to customers either in person or online.
EDUCATION:
4 year Degree in Computer Science or related field
EXPERIENCE:

Programming experience in CX, Perl, C/ESQL, C++, XML, JAVA.

Experience with the Informix Database.

Detail oriented about programming standards and proud of the quality of programs created.

Strong communication skills
-
Thrives on challenges and won’t sit still until the problem/issue is resolved.

Motivated self-starter.
MUST HAVES:
Programming experience in C/ESQL, C++.
