Quality Assurance Engineer
(Position Location: Cincinnati, OH)

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
To assist the QA team in unit testing and system testing Jenzabar’s CX and JICS applications in Cincinnati.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform database upgrades; install web server applications and client software as needed.
• Write test cases and implement black box system and integration level testing.
• Track test execution statues per build, and report defects in defect tracking system
• Support beta clients throughout the Beta cycles and publish releases to clients.
• Participate in team or corporate projects that are designed to improve the quality of Jenzabar products and services.
• Perform database upgrades; install webserver applications and client software as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree; BS in Computer Science preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years experience in software testing.
• Experience with JAVA and MS Windows environment.
• Experience being accountable for the testing of products’ full cycle with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assume ownership of multiple products, concurrently, each at different stages of their test cycle.
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of UNIX
• MS-Office
