.NET Data intergration Developer/Analyst
Position Location: Boston, MA

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a Data Integration Developer/Analyst you will work with multiple client and project teams to evaluate, design, implement and maintain data integration solutions. This position is primarily responsible for integration of Jenzabar Higher Education software applications with 3rd party partners and other vendors.

You will work with Project Managers, Product Marketing Managers, System Architects, Database Architects and Subject Matter Experts to establish Client requirements. The capability to provide full development support through the solution life-cycle is required.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Translation of requirements into design specifications that meet business objectives.
• Ability to deliver solutions, of acceptable quality, that meets requirements under project deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Code solutions using .NET
• Create complex stored procedures and views using SQL.
• Design and perform unit and system testing.
• Work with clients in resolving issues during Beta testing and following release. 

EDUCATION:

B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering preferred. Other bachelor degrees considered with relevant computer experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years of relevant development experience in a commercial software setting
• 3 years of development with Structured Query Language in a relational database environment.
• 2 years of technical work with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Informix
• 2 years of technical work with .NET
• 1 year of technical work with SSIS
• 1 years of technical work with .XML, XSL, HTML, and CSS

SPECIAL SKILLS:

•  Knowledge of the Higher Education industry
• Programming Web Services and SOAP
• Data Warehousing ETL experience

MUST HAVES:

Strong analytical skills and software development capability

• Expertise with relational database concepts; primary and foreign keys, stored procedures, triggers, and transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
