LMS Software Engineer
(Position Location: Boston, MA)
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Jenzabar’s Product Development team has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer. This position reports to the Director of Product Development in our Boston, MA.office.
Work closely with other Jenzabar programmers to participate in the design of and implementation of a multi-tiered portal development framework for higher education using the latest Microsoft .NET Technology.
The person needs to be able to contribute right away so you MUST be familiar with Microsoft .NET technology.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continue to expand the portal’s functionality and optimize its operations and performance.
- Perform verification that the design specifications have been correctly fulfilled.
EDUCATION:
4 year Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field (unless you are really, really good).
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of web development experience using Microsoft technologies
- .NET / C# experience.
- SQL Server 2000/2005
- HTML/Javascript/CSS
- Strong communication skills
- Thrives on challenges and won’t sit still until the problem/issue is resolved.
- Motivated, self-starter.
- Loves rapid application development
- Detail oriented about programming standards and proud of the quality of programs you’ve created.
MUST HAVES: Microsoft Certification, MCSD .NET
