LMS/JICS QA Engineer
(Position Location: Boston, MA)

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Jenzabar’s Product Development team has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer. This position reports to the Director of Web Applications in our Boston, MA office.

Work closely with our Development team and Release manager to ensure that bug fixes are corrected appropriately without introducing new bugs into the system, to test new functionality, and to implement automated testing processes for our Enterprise-wide web-based application.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Track test execution statuses per build, and report defects in defect tracking system. Implement automated testing, measuring results with each new build. Report results to Director, Release Manager, and Developers.
• Support alpha clients throughout the Alpha cycles and publish releases to clients. Participate in team or corporate projects that are designed to improve the quality of Jenzabar products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• BA or BFA in Software Quality, or a related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years of quality assurance experience
• 2+ years of building automated testing systems for web-based applications on .NET
• Passion for quality and usability
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
• Motivation: You must be able to work on your own and get things done
  with minimal supervision
• Pride in, and ownership of, your work
