Administrative Assistant
Position Location: Harrisonburg, VA

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Administrative Assistant will help with various administrative functions in a fast paced environment. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with preparation of accounts receivable invoicing and statement generation.
  • Maintain on a daily and monthly basis various Excel spreadsheets
  • Daily cash receipts reporting from Bank website
  • Data entry for various departments.
  • Assist Accounts Payable with expense report verification and filing.
  • Backup phone and mailing/shipping responsibilities.
  • Other general filing and organizational duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • Associates degree or two years of college work strongly preferred.
 Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Excel
  • Must have 1 to 3 years of prior experience in an office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working with customers therefore must have professional phone skills
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
