Regional User Groups
Regional User Groups (RUGs) are designed to create a forum in your “neighborhood” where Jenzabar users can network with peers and exchange ideas. While Jenzabar will play a role in fostering these regional user groups, the ultimate success of these communities will depend on our customers' initiative and efforts to host, create and actively participate in meaningful events that will provide value for every Jenzabar user.
Would you like to be a member of your RUG Steering Committee?
Each RUG should create a steering committee (approximately 2-3 individuals) that provides the overall direction of their RUG and help schedule events by recruiting a host school, developing the agenda and coordinating the meeting with Jenzabar.
Are you interested in hosting a RUG meeting in your region?
Working with the steering committee, the host school is responsible for:
- Securing date and location
- Developing the agenda
- Soliciting and securing presentations and speakers
- Developing invitation
- Coordinating content for web page
- Coordinate with Jenzabar
Jenzabar hopes that each RUG will meet at least once per year in the Fall. Jenzabar will support one meeting per region in the Fall in which all platforms are invited.
For each of the Fall meetings, Jenzabar will provide the following support:
- Provide content and speaker for 1 or 2 sessions
- Minimum of 1 Jenzabar representative in attendance (please note that the first choice of representative may not be available due to scheduling conflicts)
- Develop and host web page
- Distribute invitation via email blast to appropriate list
- Manage online registration
- Provide financial support for refreshments
