JAM 2008 Information for Presenters

Meeting Room Set-Up
There are two types of meeting rooms at JAM: hands-on labs and session rooms. All lab and session rooms will have a projector, screen, and laptop for the presenter’s use. You can load your presentation onto the laptop via CD or flash drive. The rooms that accommodate 75 or more people will be equipped with microphones. Hands-on labs will have 14 desktops that can each be shared by two people, so seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Session Time Slots
Sessions have not been assigned to time slots at this time. Sessions will be assigned to specific time slots and meeting rooms only after presenters have been confirmed for every session.

Internet Connection and IP Address
Client presenters who wish to connect back to their institution will need to provide their IT department with the IP address for JAM at the Gaylord Opryland. The IP address is not available at this time, but will be posted on this Web page at least one week before the conference.

Presentation Handouts
Please help us reduce the amount of paper used at the conference by not providing handouts and encouraging attendees to review and download the presentations they are interested in when they are posted shortly after the conference.

Post-Conference Access to Presentations
Presentations will be collected in the Universe Room during the conference. Please save your presentation on a CD or a flash drive for uploading to our Web site. A thank-you gift will be given to those presenters who turn in their presentations at JAM (limit one per presenter).

To submit sessions after the JAM conference, you may e-mail them to JAM2008@jenzabar.net. Please save and submit the presentation with the session number and title (Ex. 404 – JICS Product Update). The deadline for submission is June 6.
