JAM 2007 Information for Presenters

Meeting Room Set-Up

There are two types of meeting rooms at JAM: hands-on labs and session rooms. All session rooms will have a projector, screen, and laptop for the presenter’s use. You can load your session presentation onto the laptop via CD or flash drive. The rooms that accommodate 75 or more people will be equipped with microphones.

Hands-on labs will have 14 desktops that can each be shared by two people, a laptop for the presenter’s use, a screen, and a projector.

Session Time Slots
Sessions have not been assigned to time slots at this time. Sessions will be assigned to specific time slots and meeting rooms only after presenters have been confirmed for every session.

Internet Connection and IP Address
Client presenters who wish to connect back to their institution will need to provide their IT department with the IP address for JAM at the Gaylord Palms. The IP address is not available at this time, but will be posted on this Web page at least one week before the conference.

Presentation Handouts
Handouts are encouraged for all session presentations. These are the responsibility of the presenter. Two weeks prior to the conference, a list will be sent to the presenters with information on how many attendees are signed up for JAM. This list will be broken down by Product Lines and Tracks to help you determine the appropriate number of handouts to produce.

Post-Conference Access to Presentations
JAM attendees like to access presentations after the conference. Presentations will be collected in the Universe Room during the conference. Please save your presentation on a CD or a flash drive for uploading to our Web site. A thank-you gift will be given to those who turn in their presentations at JAM.

To submit sessions after the JAM conference, you may e-mail them to JAM2007@jenzabar.net. Please save and submit the session with the session number and title. The deadline for submission is June 8.

Please name your Presentation file as follows;
Session# Session Title -- EXAMPLE: 404 JICS Product Update PowerPoint
                                                    404 JICS Product Update Handouts
